For many people the only time they hear about Celtic's finances are once a year when the official financial results are announced.

This site hopefully presents to you the financial results in words that we can all understand. All the numbers quoted about the club have come from the club's own accounts. If a mistake has been made in this, and you spot it, then PLEASE let us know, the aim is to be as honest as can be. If you have more accurate information then please get in touch.

Celtic's challenge which is mentioned in the club accounts every year is to try and balance the team's progress and the long-term stability of the club. It would be easy to speculate fortune on bringing in expensive players, on expensive long-term contracts to 'guarantee' Champions League football every season. This plan is fraught with danger as both Leeds and Newcastle have shown in England.
