When a player leaves Falkirk the club may make a profit on the deal. If the player is sold for more than their book value it is a profit, for less a loss.
Falkirk have spent a tiny amount on bringing players, and have not sold any home grown talent for a big fee. This has meant there is nothing of note in this section. The other non-Old Firm sides have been more fortunate and benefited from the Old Firm paying for their better players. Have a look at their sites to see what a difference it can make to them financially.
Both Aberdeen and Hibs in particular have a stated policy of nurturing younger players and where necessary trading them at a profit, they are both benefiting from this policy.
