The graph below shows the reported profit of Hibs. 1999 was of course a disaster, but things have steadily improved since then. In 2006 the profit was a fantastic £2.2m, in 2007 an amazing £7.4m. This is after all costs for players, for wages, for interest on loans, for everything, has been taken into account.

The drop in 2009 comes from poor result son the pitch, in particular the early exit from all cup competitions.

The overall profits since 1999 comes to just over £1.7m.

The second graph shows the profits without player transfer fees included. Clearly the club has to sell to survive.
