Interest Payments
The graph shows that the club has had negligible interest payments every year up to 2008. This is a great sign of a club living within its means, and must be applauded.
The 2008 figure is startling bigger than any previous year, and is more evidence of a huge gamble. This gamble paid off but it may not have done and it is slightly surprising that a club that was only seven years on from a financial disaster should have taken such a risky route. The 2009 figure is hugely worrying given the huge drop in income from relegation.
