Kilmarnock - Interest Payments

Clubs have to pay out interest on loans taken out for various purposes.

The graph below shows that Kilmarnock have interest payments of over £600,000 per year. Comparing this with the pre-2003 figures it is clear that roughly half the payments come form the construction of the hotel. This is clearly a huge drain on the club, and will seem to be for the foreseeable future.

The comparative figures for Killie show them paying over £600,000 per year in interest payments, Dundee United paying close to £500,000, St Mirren over £70,000. Falkirk have a huge advantage over these clubs in not having any interest to pay. Heart s have interest payments of close £35,000 per week.
