The graph below shows how the cash situation has been for the club. It is clear that every season there is a problem. As the cash disappears the club has to borrow money from somewhere to pay the staff, or the tax man, or the teams they have bought players from. When borrowing became harder, and more expensive the load was passed on to Simon Jordan. When he hit a personal cash problem it brought the club down.
