The net debt for the club comes form adding up all the
money they have borrowed, be this loans or overdraft, and then comparing it
to how much cash the club has.
In 2008 the net debt reached £15m.
This was made up of £7.9m owed to the banks, £5m of which was an overdraft
and the rest a loan. There was also a £4.5m loan from an unnamed source.
This has four payment dates of £750k in June 2009, June 2010, £1m in 2011
and a final one of £2.6m in 2012.
The reason the debts are getting
ever bigger is that the club are losing money every season and having to
borrow more to cope with that.
