The graphs below shows the reported profits of Palace.
It is pretty clear that the club only makes a profit in exceptional circumstances. So in 2005 they were in the Premier for the only time in ten years, and in 2006 they sold Andy Johnson and Fitz Hall for a profit of £11m.
The total losses over the eight years covered come to £21m. It is doubtful that 2009 would have been much different from 2008. These results mean that the club has only been able to survive through the owner ploughing ever more money in.
