This graphs below show how the different areas have contributed to the club turnover.

Rangers do not separate out the TV money which most other clubs do. The "bums on seats" money seems to be a lot smaller than their direct competitors. So Newcastle for example, with a capacity of 52,000 had gate receipts of nearly £32m in 2008 (their latest published figures), Rangers in 2009 with an average crowd of 47,000 only managed £29m.

The sponsorship money clearly benefited from Champions League football in 2006. The sponsorship deals clearly did not have the same boost from a Uefa run as from a Champions League run. Last year the club stated they were re-negotiating a number of their sponsorship contracts, this maybe the reason for the drop

The money made from club shops has grown steadily over the years, and is now at a fantastic level. The long term deal with JJB Sports to sell the club merchandise should guarantee this stays high. @@@@@

Commercial

The amount of money made from Publishing and Catering is small, fairly flat, but still useful. The Publishing figure was reported separately up to 2006 it is now just consolidated in the "Others" figure.
