Spurs Income
This graph shows the breakdown of the money Spurs has taken in since 1997.
The total income in the 9 seasons since 1st August 1997 is just roughly £730m.
The amount of money coming into the club is key to its ability to compete. Over the last 5 years the annual turnover has increased roughly 75%. This is a fantastic improvement for any business.

Most of this
extra money is from Sky payments, although there is a healthy increase in
sponsorship money as well. The big
problem seems to be the money made from bums on seats. The gates receipts in
2002 were £27.7m, that figure was not matched until 2007. A direct comparison would be

The two charts below shows how the proportions, and the overall totals have changed between 1998 and 2008. It is clear that the Sky money is now the key factor in income, and that "bums on seats" is showign less importance all the time. Again the new ground should shift the balance.
