Spurs - Where the money comes from
This graphs below show how the different areas have contributed to the club turnover.
The gate receipts are split in the accounts between league and Cup amounts. The League gatess income is stuck at about £18m . This highlights the the limitation is the ground capacity, and the desperate need for more seats. A larger ground would also hugely benefit and Cup run.

The money form Sky has grown and grown, to become the main source of income for the club. The money received depends on the number of live games televised as well as the finishing position in the Premiership. The improvement in the money from Sky is clear when the 2008 finishing position of 11th was worse than the previous year's 5th.

There is an obvious step change in sponsorship money as new partners appear. The higher 2006 figure only includes a small amount of Mansion money, the 2007 and 2008 figures show the full impact of their deal. It is likely that the sponsorship deals have a clause in them that Cup runs = more money.

The club says they are very pleased with the merchandising results but it has to be said that generally they look pretty flat figures. The 2008 increase will be form the League Cup success, and the figures for 2009 may be more representative of on-going expectations.

The club classify money from Club Members in the "Others" section of the accounts. The amount from "Others" is very high, bigger than the total merchandising figure. Again the League Cup run was probably the cause of the leap.
