Spurs - Interest Payments
Spurs has to pay out interest on loans taken out for various purposes.
The graph below shows that the club had been paying out under a million pounds per year to service its borrowings up to 2006 when it leapt to £2.2m. The 2008 figures shows another leap. This is explained by the extra loans taken out ot finance the Academy, and in connection with the stadium development project.
This should be compared to someone like Everton who pay interest of over £2.5m every year.
